Infinite Position Control (Proportional Accuracy) : Unlike basic actuators that only open or close, modulating motors provide step-less adjustment. Fail-Safe Safety Systems (Spring Return) : Safety is critical in industrial combustion. Many modulating motors come equipped with a Spring Return feature. In the event of a power failure, the motor automatically forces the valve or damper to a "safe" default position (usually fully closed) to prevent overheating or fuel leaks.
